23.5k for a Monster is Monsterous. There's no way I'd pay that much over an SP version. As you can see from my avatar, I'm a big Ducati fan, but they're just getting WAY too expensive now.

I need to stop watching these videos. The more I watch, the more I want one. I have a 2019 mt09sp which is a great bike. But i think i might upgrade to the new sp later this year. It costs almost as much as the street triple rs. Over AUD20K.

I got the mt07 and granted, it’s my first bike but in first gear while driving slow, the torque is almost unmanageable despite how little I’m twisting. I realize that I need to practice and learn throttle control but I could not imagine having 164 horsepower or even a drop more torque.

Ill pass and keep my 2011 monster 696 which has zero safety tech, and ive got down to about 142kg. Also is aircooled with a trellis frame. For the price theyre asking for this biked id rather get a street fighter v2 with extra hp and cheaper.

Why dosent they add Start/Stop bumdled in the DCT option? Engine from Africa Twin, cruise control from Gold Wing, and finaly Start-Stop from PCX... so obvious in my mind. If the gears go automatic you should have the option to shut off the bike while in traffic. Tell me yours opinion

I find these quite wonderful. I'm hoping they give it cruise control as standard. It's really the only serious gotcha it's missing. If I didn't already have a GS and was shopping around that 10k range the strom is definitely on the short list. As for DE vs the touring version? Tough call, I'd go DE I think. A 21 inch front can carve corners just fine I don't think you are giving up too much nimbleness over the 19 inch on the touring version but getting a lot of offroad stability. It really is a serious miss not having cruise. I don't think it cannabalizes 1050 sales that much. People aren't making that jump for the cruise control, they make that jump for the power.

Just another crap way to fleece customers. With all due respect to the great Senna, he may have rode Ducati's but he was an F1 driver. There's not much of a connection there and certainly not one worth that kind of money. This is like when MV has a Lewis Hamilton version of their bikes.

Wishing this was an unlimited edition like the old R3 Monster and CBR Repsol. Would certainly be cheaper...

USed to watch F1 with my dad when i was a kid. When Ayrton Senna died, who was my favourite driver, i stopped watching. From that point i have only watched short bits of a race but never a full race. Still hurts me how he passed away too soon.

Ducati are off their heads just cattering to people with more money than sence and not real bikers, I always thought I'd have a Ducati one day not now they are just taking the piss. Yamaha on the other hand have done it right with the XSR900 GP in looks and price well done.

Where i live SV650 is cheapest by far.

Best? Depends. At least if we're talking about frame, it definitely is the best one for actual off-roading.

I used to see monsters all the time on the roads, I’ve only seen the (new) model once in the wild doesn’t seem to resonate with many riders compared to the old models.

If you spend that type of money over the SP then those front callipers should’ve been left bare metal with the ‘Brembo’ lettering in green, yellow, blue, green, yellow, blue...the devil’s in the detail especially at this price.
